Medieval fantasy setting as far as technology, but socially even more progressive than many countries in the modern world irl. Industry is developing, but in a different way than our world, in part because of the latest royal family, D'albion. The geography is inspired by the American Southeast, but culturally, Zadrienna is a lively mix of influences. The current monarch, Queen Astraea Nova D'albion, is fiercely protective of her people, their various cultures, her kingdom's environment, and overall well-being. She has little patience for people who endanger her people or her land in any way, and some call her a tyrant for that.
