She learned from her friend in Quantium, Olynre how to fight like a knight, but she's very timid and afraid of confrontation. Miranda Keeps a dream journal full of her favorite fantasies for how the world should be.

Personal history
Miranda has always been timid and afraid of the world, but this is what pushed her family into training her in the hope it would cause her confidence to grow. Slowly but surely her confidence surged until she felt ready to leave the yard in her armour. Whilst she was out, her family home was attacked, her parents and brother were injured in the struggle. When she returned, she saw the devastation of a real fight, all of her confidence and her bravado was swept away in an instant.
Her Parents never fully recovered from the attack, and with the Rift Drain encroaching on their lands, they soon succumbed to their injuries. Both her and Ritz fled to inner Quantium. When they heard of the trip to the new world, Ritz convinced her to join him in the expedition, get away from the rift.
In the new world, Miranda was determined to overcome her own fears. She signed up to the guard training in Autumnfall thinking this would help build up her character and prepare her for this new world. All too soon Miranda's training was called in to question during the First Contact with the Syntalius.
