Planet
Geography
Most planets are similar in the fact they are a giant, relatively spherical, ball of rock. Some planets are much larger than others, some are made of gas, and some are completely liquid. Of course there are exceptions, such as Nalmaria, who's core is made up of one singular gigantic spider, or Exio, who lacks a core, instead is a planet of water. Planets display many unique geographic locations, such as mountains, valleys, oceans, and contain varied climates, sometimes varying on the same planet.Planet Types
Rocky Planet
Rocky planets are by far the most common, sporting the most species, ranging from a thousand different species per planet to upwards of a billion, with few exceptions. Rocky planets also house the most variety in biomes and climates, ranging from 0K to the temperature of a sun.Ocean Planet

Gas Planet
Gas planets are significantly rarer than the other two planet types. These rarely occur in a solar system, and even rarer occur more than once in a single system. This makes the Kinosmo system a spectactle, with multiple gas planets. These contain few creatures, even fewer sapient creatures, and are commonly used as harvesting planets.Harvesting Planet
Harvesting planets are the fourth planet type, and are not based on its appearance. Harvesting planets are named as such because they have no native sapient species on the planet, and are inhabited by a foreign sapient species, who harvest the planet's resources for their own gain. It is only legal to own a harvesting planet if no sapient species has existed for a year (a year on the respective planet). Some harvesting planets include Venviri, Neptune and Earth, the latter two's sapient species dying out very recently.
Since sapient species first arose, harvesting planets have caused conflict. The law on these planets was only created recently, but resources have always been a cause of conflict. When one, or all the sapient species on a planet dies out, it becomes a race to see who can take over the remains, and it always leads to one thing: death. Death of the people who fought over the planet, and death of the planet itself, after all of its resources have been depleted.
Dwarf Planets
Dwarf Planets are simply celestial objects not large enough to qualify as a planet. These planets are usually seen orbiting around the edge of the solar systems, such as in the Kinosmo and Ria Systems where all of the dwarf planets orbit their respective suns further from any planet.Moons
Moons are smaller celestial objects that orbit around planets, and sometimes other objects. Moons are the celestial objects responsible for tides on the planets they orbit. Most planets have at least one moon, many having multiple, while few have none. Moons also have less chance of developing a sapient species, for there are fewer resources, food, water and materials.Planets
