Tenlar "Ghost" Gloom

Born (4th of Bleaksun, 1261-present)   Tenlar Gloom born "Frelveth Zikim" is a prominant member of the Shadowed Eyes and right hand man to Night-Spark.   Early Life (1261-1276)   Frelveth was born in the large Zoiatine mining city of Zhido. At a young age Frelveth would accompany his father Tearniz with his job in the caverns. Unfortunately when Frelveth was twelve years old a hit was placed against his father. Apparently one of Tearniz's coworkers hated and resented him for reasons unknown. The coworker (Dante, Eath Genasi) hired some Gold Blade to kill Tearniz. For a while people believed Tearniz had just disappered so for the time being Frelveth took over his father's job.   One day Frelveth found his father's body within the Zoiatine Catacombs. Since Frelveth had been working in the mines for a while he knew exactly what happened. He knew that some of his fathers coworkers hated him, so he figured one of them must've killed him. For two years Frelveth spent his time creating cases on his father's coworkers. He eventually learned that Dante most likely killed his father.   So one night, filled with revenge, Frelveth snuck into Dante's house. When Dante was asleep Frelveth struck six times with an ax. Dante died because of his wounds and his body was disposed of in the catacombs. Frelveth got away with the murder and went on with mining Zoiatine. But he was bidding his time waiting for a chance to leave the evil town of Zhido   Sun Spot (1276-1279)   When Frelveth turned fifteen just like any other able child he was offered to be trained as a Sun Spot. Frelveth never really was a big worshiper of Eurhelles or Eurstreich. But he needed a way out of Zhido and it would be nice to learn how to defend himself.   So Frelveth kissed his mother goodbye and got into the wagon which took the Freiwillige to Zwillingssonnen. When the Freiwillige arrived at Zwillingssonnen all of the Freiwillige were sent into the middle of the wilderness and told to find Anrufpunkt.   Frelveth knew exactly what the first trial would be so he found Anrufpunkt with 3 days. Frelveth also excelled in the Intelligence and Athletic test. So after a few weeks he became a student in Anrufounkt learning how to be a Sun Spot.   In his 3rd year Frelveth fell in love and got into a relationship with another student known as Kelarro Jezomal. Unfortunately the Sun Spot have strict rules about relationships while training. So Frelveth and Kelarro were kicked out of Anrufpunkt.   A Beautiful Family (1279-1283)   After being kicked out of Anrufpunkt Frelveth and Kelarro moved to Avenia. In Avenia Kelarro started to study in the School of Eight Pyramids, while Frelveth worked as an apprentice to a carpenter. Two years later Frelveth and Kelarro got married. A year and a half after the wedding Kelarro realized she was pregnant.   After many years of hard work and despair Frelveth had made a good life for himself. He had a good house, a good job, a wife, and a daughter (Libby Zikim). Unfortunately not everything lasts forever.   After his daughter was born Frelveth started working with rebel group known as "The First Defiance". The TFD's goal was to dethrone and shame rich nobles and their family. Frelveth worked with this group for 4 years helping them take down the political infrastructure of Yershmier.    Death of a Family (1287)   On Libby's fourth birthday Frelveth was on his way home from work when his entire world collapsed around him.   Unknown to Frelveth a few days prior Night-Spark had a vision from Vuar. Vuar told Night-Spark that he had a new member for the Shadowed Eyes and that he should be a very important member. Following Vuar's orders Night-Spark sent a number of Shadowed Eyes to Frelveth's house so they could kill his family.   When Frelveth returned home from his carpenter job he was devastated to find his family knocked out in is living room laying in pools of blood. Frelveth stepped in and was quickly knocked out by a nearby injured Shadowed Eye.   Frelveth woke up locked inside a deep dank dungeon, locked to a chair. Chained to the wall were Libby and Kelarro. While Frelveth was waiting for his family to come to he began to speculate why he was in this situation. Frelveth came to the decision that these people were hired by a rich noble retaliating against the First Defiance. When the rest of the family came to, the people who captured them (they were Shadowed Eyes, but Frelveth believed they were hired by Nobles) unchained Libby and in front of her parents slit her throat.   Devastated, Frelveth and Kelarro spent the next miserable month trying to escape their bonds. But after a month of pointless escape, Kelarro was freed. Kelarro immediately tried to attack the Shadowed Eyes and mortally wounded one of them before the other four tackled her and beat her brutally in front of Frelveth.   Two weeks later Frelveth was released, as soon as he was released Frelveth attacked the Shadowed Eyes. Even in his weakened state Frelveth managed to kill all five Shadowed Eyes. Griefing believing he killed his family Frelveth inflicted two long scars onto his face. Since Frelveth lost his entire world he had no reason to stay so devastated Frelveth left Avenia.   The Delirium Circus (1288-1289)   6 months after the death of his family Frelveth felt like he needed to do something with his life. He wanted to try something new, while trying to distract his mind. So surprising to everyone as well as himself Frelveth joined a traveling circus known as the Delirium Circus.   While in the Circus Frelveth started off by performing as a fire blower in the circus. During the night after the performance was over Frelveth would visit the nearby bars and party. When he could get his hands on it he would use Fainter's Mead and Dragontail.   After a couple of months with the circus, Frelveth got a new job as a knife thrower/juggler. Frelveth's job was to juggle and handle daggers expertly. And for his final trick he would throw daggers around his partner while he was blind folded.   Unfortunately Frelveth's partner for the circus was a horrible person. She had a habit of emotionally abusing Frelveth by telling him he caused his family's death. For a long time Frelveth put up with this torture, but one day (around his one year anniversary with the circus) he decided to change everything.   Frelveth will go out drinking on nights where he doesn't have a show the next night. But one night he went to the bar and started partying even though he had a show the next morning. At the bar he was at he got his hands on some Dragontail and Fainter's Mead.   The next morning Frelveth had the worst hangover of his life. He knew he would have to do the show so he just persevered through it. When it got to his final trick he had enough of his partner. So when he was throwing his knives blind folded he purposely hit his partner with one of the knives. She wasn't killed but she was wounded pretty badly. Luckily for Frelveth the attack was marked off as an accident, but he was thrown out of the circus.   A New Life (1289-1292)   After being thrown out of the circus Frelveth's pain was even stronger. At this time Vuar told Night-Spark that now was the time to recruit Frelveth to the Shadowed Eyes. It didn't take long for Night-Spark to find Frelveth, when he did he told him that he could help.   Night-Spark told Frelveth that Vaur could help him get revenge on the people who killed his family (Frelveth does not know that Night-Spark killed his family, so all of this is part of Night-Spark's plan). Frelveth got a vision from Vuar at that moment. Vuar chained Frelveth in a dark void and talked to him convincing Frelveth of his future potential. So tired of years full of death and pain Frelveth agreed to join the Shadowed Eyes.   When Frelveth joined the Shadowed Eyes Night-Spark told him that he needed to change his name, because Frelveth essentially no longer exists. After a few days of contemplation and a few talks to Vuar Frelveth settled on the name "Tenlar Gloom".   Now Tenlar, Frelveth started to train with the Shadowed-Eyes. Luckily his training with the Sun Spot helped him excel above the rest. So Tenlar eventually became the trainer for new Shadowed Eyes. After a few years Night-Spark gained an interest in him and after talking to Vuar, Night-Spark decided to allow Tenlar to be his right hand man.   An Assassin (1292-1297)   Tenlar's job as Night-Spark's right hand man, his job is to lead elite teams of assassins to kill high targets. To keep Tenlar from figuring out about how his family died Night-Spark will lie to Tenlar and tell him to kill targets who "killed his family"   Tenlar was incredible at his job no matter who he was supposed to kill. He would go into a fight with swords, pistols, and gas bombs. To get better at fighting Tenlar learned to become immune to the gas his bombs would release.   After a few months of completing contracts, the men Tenlar would lead nicknamed him "Ghost". Tenlar gained the name "Ghost" due to his ability to disappear into the shadows then reappear somewhere else.   Ghost's Mission (1297)   One night Night-Spark got a vision from Vuar. Vuar told him of a dangerous group, who would stop the efforts of the Shadowed-Eyes. Vuar told him to send Tenlar to gain the trust of the adventuring party. So Night-Spark sent Tenlar to infiltrate the group and eventually capture them and bring them to the Shadowed Eyes.
