Ydren

Ydren is a planet with a circumference of around 50,000 kilometers. It is circled by a small moon composed of chalk, and a small, divinely created sun.   Ydren is separated into at least six continents, among them Ergast, Dakana, Ahual, Kendon, Mahrra, and Zephrem. The two campaigns taking place there are situated in the proximity of Ergast.   The main conflict of Ydren is between the known and the unknown. People are able to lead normal, boring lives in this world, while the presence of the unknown is steadily gnawing at the edges of what they perceive as as reality. This isn't helped by the fact that up until 15,000 years ago, the gods were still actively able to influence mortal development, before going into willing exile on the far reaches of Mount Tiandun.   The inhabitants of the various continents of Ydren have limited contact with one another. At the coastlines of the world, large multispecies trading posts have developed, but inland, societies become more homogenous and xenophobic. Some parts of the world are centralized, with strong laws being enforced, while others are remote enough for people to eke out a place of their own - or, if things go bad, for madness and evil to take root.   Article accessibility:   Articles with a k and one or more types of knowledge skill behind them are only accessible to players whose characters have training/proficiency in that knowledge field.
