The Forfeighted

The Forfeighted are one of the most dangerous and amoral crime orders in all of Trian. They are regularily involved in slave-trade, murder and the lovely combination of both; necromancy. While their HQ is located in the Barren Lands, there are multiple smaller "offices" in most larger cities. Finding their hideout can vary depending on the location. Sometimes, their base of operations can be just one informant hiring the local scum to do their bidding, while others locations have multilevel buildings that are easily recognized for what they are.
In Dagenmaw specifially, their base is located underneat a prison that was repurposed into a mailing office. In the former cells large of the large underground structre, there is an office-like set up to organize crime. Slave-trade has been very active around the area of Dagenmaw in the recent years, both thanks to the large wealth disparity making the poorer easy prey, as well as the spreading settlement making it more difficult for the legislation to find missing people.
As part of a raid trying to kidnap Dorianne DeLune, her sister and brother, Dorianne made a fiend pact with Lirdon - The Nightmare Spawn to be able to save them. Unbeknownst to her, she is now a puppet of the organziations larger goals, even as she is trying to hunt them down and eliminate them.

History

Originally the Forfeighted were a very dedicated order of clerics to Zaharion, who were trying to free her from her planar prison, so that she might have walk the earth like other deities. The order considered chaotic destruction the purest beauty. Their growing numbers and intensified efforts to allow Zaharion into the world were part of the cause of the Lacuna Most of their original purpose was lost, and only very few, very horryfying underground ruins of (suicide) massacres remained.
When Lirdon - The Nightmare Spawn was sent through the rift, the cult and it's long dead leader was reawaked, but only the most important members are are educated about it's origin and are invested in it's goals. Otherwise, the Forfeighted are a flourishing organization of crime with most of it's current members unaware of the religious link.
