Xsuoqytl

Xsuoqytl floats near the turbulent center of the Astral Sea. Isolated from the conflicts of the rim, the plane is dominated by the Grondal Empire, an alliance of five goblin nations ruled by a council of nobles, headed by a single, immortal sorcerer. Their ancient rivals, the seven kobold nations to the south east, have been subjected, each ruled tyrannically by one of the seven arch-sorcerers. The tribes of the Mandelian plains and the scattered villages in the foothills of the Kronin Mountains tithe to the Grondal Empire, but maintain a semblance of independence. Having abandoned attempts at conquest of the Kronins or the Queman Flats, Grondal is currently waging war against Jahliel and Xenoi.   While the conflicts of the rim have not reached Xsuoqytl, their refugees have, and many settled in the jungles of Xenoi. A rich mix of races and cultures, Xenoians are bonded not by their ties to each other, but their desperation to survive on this new plane. They protect their towns and borders from both Grondal and the jungle itself.   While Grondal controls the land, Jahliel dominates the sea, and Holton, far from the border, is a small but prosperous town. While danger looms, it is distant, and life in the town and the farms that surround it is generally peaceful. It is here that your adventure begins.
