Highspace

Highspace allows ships to traverse interstellar distances between two Jump Points.
Though it's not clear how Highspace functions, enough of it is understood to realize what needs to be done to Aether Shields to modulate them allowing travel in Highspace.

Manifestation

Travel through Highspace has been likened to travelling down a tube sprayed in fuzzy, muted, psychadelic colors leading to a black dot in the distance which gradually grows larger (the exit jump point). Most ships' Aether Shields mute the scene by means of projecting simpler scenes on the ship side of the shield.
