Naming Traditions
More nature-based families often name faun children after a plant that grows in the area, or some other nearby geographical feature, whether naturally or unnaturally occurring. More city-based Fauns have a broader, looser approach to naming their children. Fauns may change their names after significant life- , worldview- or personality-altering events. To avoid confusion, though, these Fauns are more likely to be referred to as, for example; "Kara-who-used-to-be-Cherry", or "Sage-who-used-to-be-Granite,"
