Tal'Gelrul Empire

The great Giant-Kin Empire of the First Age. Said to of spanned across what would now be three of the great continents, ruled by the powerful Empress Tal'Gelrul, a powerful Giant-Ogre hybrid. The Empire held cities within the Labyrinth and was well known for protecting much of the surface from the dark creatures of the Labyrinth's depths. However, it fell after struggling to hold back the greatest army of the The Pale ever to exist within history, atop then being betrayed by its human allies during the great wars that lead up to the Great Rupture. Knowledge of the empire has long since fallen from most modern history, only the Fae, wandering tribes of Giant-kin, and a few sparse scholars know of its existence in the modern-day.
