"She looks as soft and harmless as could be...right until the jaws of her power snap you in two."

Personal history

One could say The Golden Lady has always been blessed, starting out life as a golden child. She was born to wealth and was the center of her parent's universe. Nannies provided her attention day and night, educators from across the lands were brought in to teach her all manner of things, and skilled chefs were trialed and tested dealing with her picky eating habits. To say a young, human Akhalla was spoiled would be an understatement.   Her father was a public figurehead and Akhalla took after him, taking up a career as a civil servant. She served the city that had raised her and despite the range of her education, found little interest in traveling far from her home. She found a husband, married young, and visited her parents every so often like clockwork. Life was pleasant and simple.   Several years into her career, Akhalla discovered evidence that her father had been embezzling city funds. She loved her parents dearly. Her father had given her every opportunity in life. Yet within the week, she had made the decision to reveal all of his terrible secrets. The glorious education she'd received, the very clothes on her back, had come from coins that were not her family's. Justice had to be done, and so it was Akhalla who carried out his sentence.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Despite her humanity and the popularity of her Aspect, when Akhalla ascended it was a quick and decisive journey to Major godhood. She rose to the top in nearly no time at all, forcefully proving herself more powerful than the previous major, and making a name for herself among her fellow ascendants.   The city she had been born in, who she had saved from the 'evil' of her father and all of his associates, sang her praises. When she was no longer among them, it was easy for the superstitious to believe she had ascended. It was what their great lady deserved, after all. And so her city of zealots spread word of her goddesshood, and Akhalla became untouchable.

Mental Trauma

Time has not treated Akhalla kindly. Though a powerful major god, for the past century she has been succumbing to her Aspect faster than others who have been Major Gods longer, like Harlow. Every year she grows more avid in her pursuit of justice, to the point she's become fanatical. She does not hesitate in her decisions, even if they come at great cost to her or those around her. Thus, although she has many worshipers in the human realm, most other gods despise her. She stands alone, and her enemies have started to plan their actions around her downfall.   If Akhalla loses herself to justice incarnate, many chaotic gods will run freely while the minor justice deities start the fight for her place.
