Thepolian
Thepolian is a very old language, originating from Antioch, where it remained an isolated language for thousands of years. One of the key things that gave Thepolian this longevity was its isolation in the Antiochian Archipelago. While the same could be said of Yugado - having been isolated to the lands of Yugawa - the fact that it was the Ilian peoples that were most heavily involved in the Age of Exploration, and their settling of colonies, caused their language to shift in a much more drastic way than the exposure Thepolian got during the same period. Even now, while Yugado has absorbed many aspects of other languages into itself, Thepolian remains mostly unchanged.
This "sanctity" or unshifting nature is most easily seen in the practices of the Izaric Church. Having been founded by an Antiochian, and named another as a Saint, the church is not only steeped in the trappings of Thepolian culture, but actually uses the language as their canonical tongue. All members of the clergy, regardless of rank, speak, read, and write Thepolian. Even common members of the congregation at least speak enough to participate in services. Thus, despite being a vitally historic part of Kalastrad, and, consequently, Altian and Alar culture, the Thepolian language has remained indistinguishable in Kalastrad from how it is spoken in Antioch.
