Island of Sabulo

The Island of Sabulo, a harsh desert continent jutting out of the sea. Its plain are rough, sandy, and inhospitable. Two narrow rivers cross central Sabulo from West to East but do not provide nearly enough water for the entire continent. Sabulo is a vast desert, with the only fertile areas around oases and streams. The terrain has few natural barriers to divide it into different regions, but human settlements have created their own divisions by means of walls or rivers. Sabulo is bounded on one end by an impassable cliff wall called Dragonback Ridge that stretches all along the eastern edge of Sabulo, while just to the south the Dragontail Ridge loops around counter-clockwise to encircle the Temple of Sabulo .
There are just a few scattered settlements in Sabulo. The Fox-Faced tribe inhabits a small town in the southeast of the continent, and there is also a fortified trader's post located to the northeast. One cave-like fortress and monastery lies south relatively close to the Disco Bridge, but excavation has revealed that these seem to be far more recent.
Sabulo is known for its fierce and sudden sandstorms, which can occur even in the calmest weather.
