Adorata, Goddess of Reverence
Background: The discovery of magic by the general population of Wren was the second most important discovery of the world, behind the discovery of etherium (used to power planar portals and synthesize magic with machinery). The eight primal gods of the Material Plane (Kraka, Hatic, Ierlo, Zolerti, Mila, Ruzbar, Ura, and Linnistra) were all the creation of other planes, independent mages, or the Calugar. However, after the Northern Harvesters migrated and evolved into the terrifying Southern Harvesters, the Calugar were hunted down and feasted upon. It took 200 years for their hidden temple and scrolls to be discovered by explorers from the kingdom of Fiermeche, a small, devoutly religious kingdom devoted to harmony with nature. Upon discovery, the kingdom seized control of the territory and began to decipher the scrolls. It took little time for the scholars to discover the rite of actualization, and attempt to use it to benefit their kingdom. The result was the goddess Adorata, who was a personification of the kingdom's strong reverence. In order to produce enough ardentia, the citizens of the kingdom prayed for 3 months straight, only stopping to eat, exercise, and sleep. Adorata values silent respect, giving credit where credit is due, and frequent reflection.
