WelKworp

Structure

Welkworp is divided primarily by the product it creates, then by aspects of manufacturing, then by materials. While prestige within WelKworp is founded upon efficiency and/or income, there is no distinction within WelKworp's charter that gives any division more or less of a say than its peers.

As per its charter, no single individual is allowed to manage more than five underlings, for the purposes of healthy growth and management. Managers who find more than five individuals appoint the most qualified to their level of management, treating said appointee as a sibling rather than as a child. While some superiors can rescind the appointment and chose another, the underlying assumption is that the one in charge of the purview knows best about said purview.

Culture

WelKworp's culture reflects that of the city-state in which it was founded. Its people are hopeful of a brighter future, and they work hard to make their future bright. Labor earns them their freedom, and they use it to excess. Everyone from the highest-level manager to the lowest-level employee believes that the company does what is good and right for Wouraiya, and is willing to take a pay cut to ensure its survival and expansion. After all, the success of WelKworp flows into the success of Wouraiya.

Public Agenda

From the outside, WelKworp's first and only goal is to accumulate capital. While this is certainly considered an motivation, WelKworp's primary mission is self-reliance. The firm will not tolerate dependence on a resource center, government, or third party contractor for its needs, and its actions reflect a strong impetus to establish vertical monopolies. Welkwu's governmental policies ensure this, not that Welkwu could handle the revolution if there was any conflict with WelKworp's ideals.

Assets

WelKworp has purchased several less-productive mines from larger nations such as Keyrit, Tuhra, and Ugo-yt. These production centers were generally considered weaker sources to be abandoned by their former owners, but they were still worth it to WelKworp according to its policies of independence. WelKworp has its own fleet of ships, well-armed in case of pirates or even the occasional scuffle with the Wlitowan Navy. The primary center of production is and always has been the city-state of Welkwu, for regulatory and historical reasons. Even so, WelKworp owns several large buildings for commercial purposes in most of Wouraiya's large cities, as well as underground networks in Wlitowa.

Our independence is paid in full.
