The Den
Purpose / Function
The Den is the main base for the lycanthrope organization named the Pack. The Pack's main purpose is to the protect lycanthropes that are included in their organization. The Den is a main base of operations, as well as being the home to various homeless lycanthropes.
Sensory & Appearance
The cave of the Den is pretty warm, perhaps almost uncomfortable for some. The cave is lit with little electricity, but it does have many, many candles and chandeliers around.
Notably, it smells warm, oddly like cake.

Contents & Furnishings
A many tables are spread throughout the cave, some filled with maps and books. There are also models of artifacts of various weapons. In one spot of the cave, there is a blacksmith forge and many other tools for the job.
Special Properties
The Den is completely invisible to vampires, but the magical barrier that hides the area from vampires has a slight effect on humans. Humans, when they approach the barrier, become very disinterested in going farther. If one were able to push past the strong unwillingness to go farther, they would end up in the Hollow and the Den area.
Because there is a forest, the Den tends to be cold near the opening, but becomes warmer from natural heat and from the magic fire.

Alterations
The Den was originally built in an abandoned mineshaft, but members were able to move supports around to make a functioning cave that had little danger of collapsing on them.
In 1925, the area in front of the cave was bought by the Pack, and homes made from the forestry were added. The Pack also planted more trees and plants around the exterior to keep prying eyes away.
Now, it looks abandoned from the outside, but if one listen's at night, they can swear they see light in the woods and hear the calls of people along with the banging of hammers.
So far, the Den has yet to be discovered by humans for its real purpose.
