The real timeline (i think)

After becoming disconnected from the rest of the celestial dawn, the 7 evolved further than any celestial had before.  Once they developed emotions and understanding, they also understood fear.  This drove them to try to save themselves by creating a homestand and hiding out instead of self destruction or trying to return to the celestial dawn.

Immediately after, Talonfall destroyed the pylons. In a dazzling display of flashes and lights accompanied by crackles and heavy booms, a storm manifested above Reqir. For several minutes the wind picked up and more flashes of lightning illuminated the now dark sky. Just for a moment, Terra’s likeness apparated in the clouds before suddenly, streaking across the sky towards the Catalyst (CENTER ISLAND THING). The same thing happened in each of the other 6 kingdoms as well and met in the center of the lands forming one superstorm. They lingered shortly before being swept up into the sky and disappearing from Zevian for as long as anyone has known. In the following moments of silence, everything was still.
