The Southern Fever War
Conflict arising between Reqir and the countries Albeita and Ajeroc in 1663. Leading up to the war tensions were high, as Reqir continued to try to strongarm Albeita further down the peninsula and away from the rich desert mine pits. Reqir positioned its superior military directly across from mining towns in attempts to scare citizens out of the area. Tensions came to a boil when a mining accident near one of these occupied towns cost 53 Albeitan miners their lives. Albeita used this as an opportunity to blame Reqir and rallied Ajeroc to fight with them to push back the military occupation. This started what became a 2 year war and ultimately ended with Reqir gaining further control of the Albeitan mining grounds.
