Laws of the Universe

Era name: primordioscene   As a whole, the universe has for as long as sentient life has existed been in a constant battle of the Celestial Dawn and creatures of Xehás. Both sides grow in power and have been locked in an eternal conflict since the beginning seemingly without purpose or means to stop. The pendulum never swings too far one way or the other for very long. This means the world is always filled with turmoil and conflict, never ceasing. in the beginning, this was brought along as light and dark, but as the world became more and more complex, greater threats on both sides began to emerge. Xehás domain was left a cold and barren wasteland while lands purging anything to fall into their hands of all of its use, leaving it a cold gray husk of its former self. The Dawn's territory, however, was teeming with life, and only by the hands of their most powerful beings were they able to reverse the effects of Xehás. What are known in Zevian as the 7 divine gods all originated as beings of dawn, save Hel'ktom who was transformed from Xehás control by Shaeila. Shaeila was the first of the group to be foremed and with the help from Hel'ktom, the two created the remaining 5 to be in equal power to themselves. Over the course of the everlasting conflict, many of these celestial beings would be created and destroyed against their Xehásian counterparts but still no true advantage has been won by either side.   Sometime after the 7 were created and assembled, the fight had started to turn in the favor of Xehás for the first time. Planets and solar systems were quickly devoured and after a few short centuries, it seemed only a matter of time until the dawn breakers were all but wiped from existence, leaving only a grey husk behind. In an act of desperation, the 7 went out together to attempt to disrupt the head of the hive mind that guides Xehás towards conquest. they infiltrated deep within enemy territory, but before they could make their move, they were found out and attempted to retreat some way before channeling their combined power into masking their presence and creatign the homestand of Zevian. They chose to stay with their creation until they could use it to slay the mind and hopefully turn the tide back for the dawn folk people (NEW NAME INCOMING).   At this time, it was a common defense for these celestial beings to build what were known as "homestands" which served as staging grounds and defendable locations to build new celestial and enigmatic beings. These strongholds were what mortals may refer to as planes of existance and resembled a floating continents of land that wandered through space, not as large as a planet, but still sizable for sure, and often lacked a clean curvature. There were hundreds of thousands of them scattered throughout created by any number of celestial warriors, where they worked to develop new ways of containing the threat of darkness. This homestand, in particular, was what would become known as Zevian.   In this homested, Shaeila and Hel'ktom used their combined power to allow for new celestials to manipulate newly created elements in nature, which would give them a much better fighting chance in the homestand (basically stronger home field advantage if celestials can manipulate more stuff). From this experimentation, several beings were produced, but the most powerful and impactful were the 5 Denexious, Orisious, Yendigo, Arourus, and Terra. These 7 spent several decades warding off attacks on Zevian and at the same time building it from an empty wasteland of rock, into a thriving environment of forests, deserts, rivers, mountains, etc, all of which amplified the powers of the elementals. This was also the time at which the colossal elementals were first used. Attacks from the void were often devastating as beings climbed up the sides and over the edge of Zevian. But attack after attack, the beings were driven off.   Short: Gods made a fatal mistake and were surrounded much quicker than expected. Use great deal of their power to cloak the homestand, which is mostly not supposed to happen since it restricts the lights power from being used elsewhere. The void and the darkness sweeps over them, leaving them in utter darkness. Create the mortal races in a vain attempt to create something to fight off the darkness with, but become attatched to the land and beings they created instead and lose sight of their original purpose. Once gods are shut out from Zevian, they are revealed to the darkness and the cloaking of Zevian slowly begins to weaken.   Possible: As void begins to gain advantage, the side of light grows weaker and doesn't come back as strong. Slowly the void, for the first time ever, begins gaining ground and 50-50 is no longer there. The 7 begin to show fear for the first time of any creature created thus far and choose to hide instead of fight, along with their new creations, which are still in their infancy.
