The Armored Cask

Owner

Karazi the Iron-willed is the half-orc owner of this establishment. Specializing in armor and armored containers, Karazi has mastered the medium of vicer wood and is the leading seller of Vicer Wood armor. A novice brewer, Karazi is almost always drunk and often willing to share some of her homemade brew.

Appearance of Establishment

The Armored Cask is located on the veranda of Leechwood's favorite tavern- Tippen's Tap. Though Karazi is employed by Tippen's Tap, constructing the barrels that the brewery uses, she spends much of her free time trying to sell her additional wares out of the stall she built outside of Tippen's Tap. Her casks are rivaled by no other, but it is her craftsmanship with vicer wood armor that draws travellers from across the West Lands to see her wares.

Her time working at Tippen's Tap has presented her with the opportunity to learn how to brew beer. A generous customer can expect to receive a complimentary tankard of beer current brew.

Armor

Vicer wood can be crafted into most Medium or Heavy Armor. If the armor would normally impose disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks, or has a strength requirement, the vicer version of the armor does not. This material offers a +1 to the AC of the normal version of the armor. Items made from this material weigh 25% less than the same item made from steel and 50% less than the same item made from wood. Proficiencies are still required to wear a given piece of armor.
