The Arcane Summit - Cipher
This cipher details the ongoings of every Arcane Summit that has ever existed since the year 1170.
Purpose
The purpose of this cipher is to record all arcane knowledge for future generations. The formulas and structure of which will be ciphered in acordance to an ancient Tortle script known by Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan. For safe keeping the Metallic Council will retain any writen knowledge of said offical works of arcane to devestating for mear mortals to control.
This cipher also contains all writen record of any arcane summit ritual. The primary traditional is the Arcane Advancement ritual. This dictates all the testing methods and rules for the magic duel if one was to be conducted.
Historical Details
Background
This document was first created by Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan as a way to document his journey to an island in the center of Loch Ren. This island would be later named after him called Isle of Thorn'Adan. The first 48 years of this document contain all of Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan own personal experiences. These sections of the cipher are known as the Chronicles of Thorn'Adan.
History
It references Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan's personal life and the very first arcane summits. The first arcane summit conveaned after various arcane users around the Continent of Renstrom gathered on the shore south of Loch Ren to a little island to the North. These arcane users underwent a week long discussion and training of various arcane knowledge. When the summit was over these arcane users set out to teach and improve the lives of those back in their respective homes. Durring the first arcane summit the attendees all agreed to meet back up on this island again in 8 years time. In this 8 years time Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan started to familiarise himself with the surroundings. By the time the second arcane summit reconved Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan had constructed a village for guests to stay.
The ciper continues to describe events all the way up to the 6th arcane summit. This is where Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan made a proposal to form an academy. The members and attendees of the summit all agreed. Those that disagreed did eventually come around. The problem they had is no one knew what to call it. Then a younger dwarf named Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel said why don't we name it Academy of Thorn'Adan after good old Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan. The summit agreed.
In Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan older age some parts of this cipher is hard to read and understand. The keeping of the cipher has been passed down to every generation of Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan's children. The current holder of the cipher is Tibor De'la Thorn'Adan. He however has recently been declared deceased and can't be found. The cipher is also lost but Jappa "Chair Joe" De'la Thorn'Adan is putting up a front about his brothers disappearance to make sure no panic sets in before the next Arcane Summit.
