Subsidy of Sinew

History

Deep in the Raesandel Forest blue mists called The Sapphire Necrotic Miasma would seep up from the ground and consume flesh. This flesh eating mist was the by product of Nadra a blue dragons failed experiment.   These mists where deadly for the Arpynians. So everytime the mists would subside they would seek out their origins. They found the location and started to dig a deep hole to find the source. The deeper they dug the more mists would be produced. When they finally came to the maximum depth for safety they constructed a well out of Cobalt stone. They they started to toss various hunted game down the well. They found out that if enough hunted creatures where placed near the center of the mist it would quell the mists.   This ritual of producing hunted materials to the well became known as the subsity of sinew. The Sapphire Necrotic Miasma would typically consume every bit of hunted creatures. Once it consumed enough it would subdue for a month. So the Arpynians wrote instructions to feed the well after every hunt. By doing so this provided plenty of flesh for The Sapphire Necrotic Miasma to consume. What the Arpynians didn't know is The Sapphire Necrotic Miasma was actually a method of consumption for a sleeping dragon named Nadra.
