World of NHAH Trust Carefully

The world of my homebrew game, No Honour Among Heroes.   The gods are gone, and innovation is seen as the key to power. The races/civilisations that hosted the gods and thrived on their power have fallen on the wayside, and nations with other strengths who were forgotten or who only managed to stay afloat with other advantages are rising. Muskets have become efficient enough to use properly in warfare, and industry is mechanising. The only change regarding the divine involves a Helanese General called Calien Blacksbrook performing an ancient ritual and claiming false godhood. He vanished but powerful followers claim that he has arisen, and even if they’re wrong, their naturalist survival of the fittest faith has become an existentialist problem.
