The great resurrection
"The Great Resurrection" is a profecy written on king Aster Conrad II's tombstone as an epitaph that recites as follow: "When sun and moon will be one, an ancestral instrument will sing again the sacred and the cursed songs of a forgotten dance. It is then that the dead will rise against the living who will fall."
Nobody knows the reason why these words are engraved on the tombstone or whether it was Conrdad II's will to write them. It's content also vaguely references the presence of an instrument, two songs and a dance. The last line of the prophecy, with the dead that rise against the living, is the reason why this text is named "The Great Resurrection" and it is believed that this event will occour during a sun eclipse ("The sun and moon wil be one") in an undefined future. Because of the theme of life and death, it is certain that the two songs, one sacred and one cursed, are the two Valderian songs written in "The Beginning of Valderia", namely "The Song of the Living" and "The Song of the Dead", however it is unknown which musical instrument and which dance it is talking about.
Some erudites have read of some kind of flute guarded by a dragon that lives in the mountain chain at the west of Valderia's ruins, but dragons are believed to be extinct and if there would still be a living one it would certainly be noticed by people venturing in those mountains.
Although there is no evidence to prove that the profecy will occour, many people started to associate sun eclipses to the end of the world and panic everytime it happens causing serious episodes of disorder and unrest. Because of this, this phenomenon is called "The Eclipse Fever".
