Swamp of Forgetfulness
The swamp is a home to the Skaresh, a dragon like species, they do not call this place a home but a prison, the other races of the world of light kept them there by force. The swamp is a bitter place to live, it takes up around a whole continent's size, and even has mountains around it. Truely a deathly place, no living being in the right mind would live in this place. It was truely a prison.

Geography

The swamp is covered in trees, and while seeming to be a flat land, unearthly hills are located within the bog. The swamp is surrounded by mountains and the only way out is through the humans or elves fortresses. Beside that it is located in the southern hemisphere, while faceing the ocean from the south and east. Off the coast, that also consist's of wreched marshland, one can see a few islands, maybe the even form an archipelago.
Within the swamp there are many rivers, but none can be seen to go into the oceans, nor do they originate from the mountains, the water is definitly not pleasent to drink.

Fauna & Flora

With dangerous lizards swimming on the surface of the dirty dark green rivers, to the carnivorus fish in the bottome of the bottomeless lakes, the wildife definitly isn't welcoming. Even the plants are threateaning, gleaming with poison and razor sharp leavs, it would seem that there were no friendly being's in these lands and nighter a way to collect unpoisend food or fresh drinks. Even the local wildlife aren't friends with eachother, the moment a lizard emerges from the waters it would get stung by musketos carrying horrid diseases, then to get food it would need to fight other lizards in order to even find a plant. When it found one it would have to search carefuly not to get poisoned or cut, when it finally succeeded it would need to go back to scroung for food and in order to not die from exaustion it would weakly go back to its lake.

Natural Resources

In fact to think this land was barren would be a mistake, the hearbs it has would be able to sell for a lot in any other territory, but this was the land of the Skaresh, these battle hardy warriors would take everything no matter if it could still grow. Fortunatly the swamp would not go empty, since it was the size of a whole continent with many unearthd places.
