S006C01 - Session 6

General Summary

After saving Luyaris during the carnival's Manticore show, the party began to evaluate what they had around them. Khepri, went off to the Inn to rest after the battle. However, Kaladin and Luyaris, left to figure out the whereabouts of the Manticore. Kaladin, was told by an older looking goblin that the Manticore had disappared. Surrounded by Goblins searching high and low for the Manticore, Kaladin was told that the carnival had hired a wizard in the area who had promised a good show for everyone.
With this information, Luyaris had rushed to Zoey's home with Kaladin. Upon getting there, Luyaris, knocked at the door seeking an audience with Zoey. Zoey, peeked through the window and saw them at her door. Fearing what could be happening, she quickly took off in a portal, hastily packing and leaving a lot behind her.
Kaladin, had gotten fed up with waiting for Zoey to get to the door and broke it down. The door, flipping over a table and shattering on the other side of it. Luyaris, as a lion, and Kaladin, entered into Zoey's home cautiously. Luyaris, made his way to Zoey's upstairs to examine what was going on. Khepri, had left from the Inn over to Zoey's home as well. When he got there, she was surprised to see the door had been knocked down. She found Kaladin, digging through some files and headed upstairs to join Luyaris upstairs.
A wood elf woman, Astrianna Galanodel, had taken notice of the commotion and decided to sneak her way into Zoey's home. She saw a perfect opportunity with a door knocked off the frame to begin her burglarizing. She quietly snuck into a closet in the home, but was discovered by Kaladin. Kaladin, had a number of questions for Astrianna however, not believing her answers, had bounded her in rope. While the would-be-thief was explaining how stupid the situation was, a lion form Luyaris and human form Khepri had come down from upstairs. They took a moment to question Astrianna too, however found her not to be threatening.
When the party got back to the Inn, they all for the most part went immediately to bed. The next morning, Darts, was up bright and early asking the Bartender about where his party had been in the course of the night. The Bartender had explained that he saw everyone come back for the most part, however there was someone new in the group. Darts, got a bit concerned about this but shook it off.
Darts, left to go and talk to Kaladin once Kaladin was awake. They both talked about the situation with the Manticore and the events of the night before. With that, Darts, was on his way out of the Tavern before being stopped momentarily by Astrianna and Khepri. The two of them ended up talking to Darts a bit about the group before splitting, where Khepri went off to go and explore a ruins being looked at by a Wizard she fancies. Luyaris followed with her.
On their way, Luyaris and Khepri heard an explosion in the town, sounding as through it was coming from the beach.
