A fixture and background player in Chicago, Cedrick Callhoun is a polarizing figure in Kindred circles. Some take Callhoun's kindness at face value, believing he is one of the few Kindred to be out for Chicago's future. Others see his earnestness and optimism as a front for his more sinister desires. Either way, Callhoun is a respected member of Chicago's Camarilla. His childe, Wauneka, is his right hand man; it is widely known that any action Wauneka takes is an action in the name of Callhoun. Despite residing in Chicago since Prince Lodin's reign, Callhoun has courted very little favour within the Camarilla. When Lodin met the final death in 1993, Callhoun made a bid for princedom - though this claim was largely laughed out of court. This was Callhoun's brief flirtation with Chicago's inner circle. Callhoun is largely absent these nights. He keeps to himself in his various havens, relying on Wauneka to enact his schemes. Callhoun can sometimes be seen frequenting Red No⁵ where the Nosferatu is seen glad-handing; furthering his own political agenda. He is also seen in the same restaurant the first Sunday of a month, a quaint diner in Austin Village. He sits alone in a booth with a glass of wine, The Great Gatsby in hand. He has been on page 56 for half a Century.
