Spirit Lake Garden of the Gods
The iron fences that surround a sizable area of ground behind the Shrine to the Humanar in the village of Spirit Lake marks the final resting place of those villagers who have moved on to the afterlife since the founding of the village (and perhaps even a bit before).
The place literally is a garden, thanks to the careful tending of Atula Fairtoes, the churchwarden of the shrine. Atula spends almost her entire waking day in the gardens, tending the sheep that keep the grass trimmed tightly, cleaning up deadfall from the many trees, pruning and shaping the shrubs into pleasant shapes, planting and caring for the flowers that mark graves and grow in clusters and borders everywhere. The place is also "alive" with lesser fey creatures who are attracted to the flowers.
