Balan
Of the Bronze Dragon ancestry from the clan of Daardendrian, Balan has bronze scales covering his body, green hairs and most notably emerald green eyes. The clan of Daardendrian is well known for their animal handling ability. Balan has a hippogriff Nightstar that he uses often as his steed during the wars.
Balan fought in many wars and was greatly affected by the consequences. Being naturally good in nature, he could not comprehend the evil that he saw in these wars. Therefore after the wars, Balan took up the sacred Oath of Vengeance in order to punish those we have committed these grievous sins.
Balan set out by himself, leaving his hippogriff Nightstar behind to carry out this calling but he soon met up with an interesting party at Korlon Hill. After knowing the party's intention to help the villagers with their goblins problem, Balan decided to join them in their quest.

Personal history
Balan of Clan Daardendrian hails from the Dragonborn settlement of Krall in the Wildlands. The walls of Krall are shaped to appear as a great dragon's head looking east across the Wildlands from the Whitecrown Mountains. Close allies with the dwarves of Draglamor, Krall trades with the dwarven canton of Jurrlett.
Krall is forever at war with the humanoid tribes of the Wildlands, remnants of the armies of the titans, which the great dragons pushed back so many millennia ago. Balan trained with the hippogriff riders and began bonding with the hippogriff Nightstar.
During an attack by a marauding band of bugbears, Balan's commander, bronze Siangar of the House Rhaxaas, found a note. It seemed as if this marauding clan was being recruited from somewhere known as the Korlon Hills. Further investigation by the lorekeepers identified the region. Balan, being the youngest of the riders, was asked to investigate. If someone in these hills were recruiting all the way from the Wildlands, it could be a prelude to a greater threat of war.
While it meant giving up so much, to be chosen for such a mission was a honor not easily turned down. Balan took a few days to say goodbye to Nightstar, carefully packing his tea set, and setting out. Going south through the Wildlands would draw too much attention, so Balan traveled to Jurrlet and used the dwarven deep roads to travel under the Whitecrowns from Jurrlet to Bunnarsen, then from Bunnarsen to Gundarik.
From Gundarik, Balan signed on with a dwarven caravanner heading south to Torevin and eventually to Brannagan's Ferry. Here he said goodbye to the dwarves and made his way to Hillsboro, the main settlement of the Korlon Hills. He needed to learn who or what was recruiting humanoids from miles around, and was this a prelude to war. At least he had learned than Brineven was known for its tea. Maybe he'd have a chance to unpack his tea set after all.
