World Beneath the Veil

Beneath the catacombs of Paris, winding through the backstreets of Tokyo, and hiding behind the doors of Americas boardrooms, is a world that evolved next to ours. A world created by similar god(s), and one that proves we are equal parts hunter and prey.   The Clans of the Vampires rule the nights from the very heart of cities and towns. They prowl the within clubs, bars ,and seek entry into every house while the rest of us sleep soundly under our covers.   Opposite to the more urban vampires, there are the tribes of Fae and Lycans. They might not hunt us intentionally, or even preferably, they lurk in the dark corners of the woods, and devour any who stray to far from the well trodden paths of man.   Mages serve as both enemies to the security of the Veil (the realm of demons and nightmares) and as its protectors. Found in all races, mages are powerful against all bar their natural predators, the Lycans.   And all this is beneath the canopy of the realm where the creators are supposedly watching, the ever changing nightmarish plane of the Veil.
