General Summary

Main Quest

Killed a group of bandits led by Azhar, a red dragonborn. He had been threatening the local cult that worships Bernard. Azhar's last words were "glory to Tiamat."
Earned the respect of the Berner children Recovered 7000gp and a ruby from the bandits

Socializing:

• Marco went drinking at the Drunken Mermaid and Timon Voss, Chef became an allied contact
• Marco got a pint of mead from Brynn Redspine in exchange for a small favor
• Ulo gathered information about Garron Chao's manor and found out:

1. The servant entrance of the manor is unguarded and most servants don't work for Garron Chao any more
2. Garron Chao has a collection of weird magical items
3. Garron Chao is living in half of the manor and the other half is used as housing for refugees

• Zinyra went drinking in the local taverns and asked people how they feel about Brilies' leadership

1. People complained about dealing with bureaucracy and how slow it went, but overall felt lucky to live in a place that provided the basic needs of its citizens
2. Many of the lower class citizens have known Brilies since she was a child and knows that she only became mayor to stop the King from getting a foothold in their town. They believe she's doing a great job given the dire situation

World Information - Rockport

Brilies showed the party a flyer announcing the candidacy of Nisalisse Liane for Mayor. The flyer criticizes Brilies for allowing new people into Rockport despite their limited resources and advocated for focusing on defense of their own citizens. She also criticized Brilies for not holding elections despite her term being up three months ago. 
Brilies argued that they should just let Nisalisse have the job. She seems to have a plan for Rockport and she's not wrong that the influx of people are straining Rockport's resources. She's feels like she's constantly scrambling from one crisis to another and has no idea what she's doing. She didn't want this job in the first place, and wants it even less now.
Brynn argued that the rhetoric Nisaliss is already using is a huge red flag and she absolutely should not be given power over Rockport and, especially, power over the dragon masks. Brynn doesn't believe they can develop a candidate good enough to beat Nisalisse if Brilies doesn't run and Nisalisse needs to be beaten. She asked the party for help in supporting Brilies' candidacy.
