Two days it takes. Two days of marching starting at the city walls of Askara, two days uphill through glimmering dry air and in the scroching heat of the desert sun, over scraggy, sharp-edged rock formations and the slippery sandy soil of the Kavkara mountains. Gusts of wind whip down heavy strikes from the mountains' peaks, flaying unprotected skin with needles of dust. Nothing thrives or prospers here, nothing lives here. Torrid heat and thin mountain air tearing at the lungs. Just moments bevore losing all hope, the path takes pity on the sore feet and bows down for a short while through a rocky canyon.
Leaving the ravine a breathtaking sight reveals itself: a garden of giant proportions covers the behind high plateau, followed by glorious terraces full of bright tropical plants and exotic flowers nearly raching up to sparkeling white summit of the mountain. The pungent winds are suddently gone and the air is fresh and pleasently warm at the same time. Water is purling in rivlets and small streams between big trees, shrubs and bushes, passing flowerbeds and vegetable gardens, ponding up in neat little pools here and there and jollily tumbling down ridges and cliffs. Porticos and pavilions decorate the terraces and offer additional shade for Myodancers and students of the leafy green academy. Nowhere else on the world manipulating plants and weather alike is mastered to a degree like at this nature defying place. It truly is the "desert's flower".

Purpose / Function
STRIVE - ACHIEVE - SURPASSWhen Myodancers gained more expertise in using their powers, they became confident enough to even try and brave the elements. In remote locations with harsh conditions they found the perfect environments for challenging themselves to push the limits of their abilities. With the "Desert's Flower" they made an unmistakable statement that they are now capable of shaping the world to their will when working together. To this day the academy of Askara remains famous for offering the best education in the Myo Aspects of Conjuration and Elemental and bringing up true masters of their trade.
History
Byuvki Heliraa was built early on during the great exploration phase of the Myodancers and is one of the oldest Myo Academies that survived throughout the centuries without being damaged. It's remote location high up in the mountains of the Kahlei desert made it a very hard place to target or even reach with an army big enough to propose a threat. Even during The War of Manaeyra there wasn't a single attack to withstand from any of the fighting parties. It remains a mistery, why the whole academy later on flipped sides and joined the cause of the rebellion.
I liked your article and the idea about it. I really loved that this area was magically shaped and it shows the magical prowess of these people. There are some mistakes in the text.
