Woel

Situated third among the five planets of the solar, Woel is a world where the pantheons governing its peoples fought each other to destruction, leaving their wayward followers in their wake. The final battle between good and evil left the world sundered and its people weakened, wiping many nations and cultures from existence leaving the forces of chaos free to take up residence unabated.   With society collapsed, the common man lives day to day, children starve in the streets while towns become sacked and abandoned. Those with agency who remain are hardened by generations of fierce fighting. As resources dwindled many started making their way to the last known bastion of the old world, the atheistic state of New Arwen far in the cold north. Others have tried to create new communities, some are still open and thriving, most are raped and plundered before they even begin.   The gods may be dead and their fallen avatars on display for all to see but their ideals live on. Tensions are high among those who became invested in the war, many still fighting in the name of their chosen deity. In-fighting is a constant issue and trust is rarely given sincerely. Without the guidance of the gods, can it's people move on from the end of the world.
