The Fallen

While there are your so called demons, 'daemons', devils, and various other evil creatures of the dark out there... TRUE Demons are the Fallen. The Fallen are Elohim and angels who killed during the first fall and banished into the Abyss. The abyss was created by the Shinning Ones to imprison the Fallen and they can never truly escape it, even if they find a way to leave the Abyss they are tied to it forever and the force of oblivion draws on them to it. The force that pulls on them is equal to there strength and the stronger they are the more securely they are imprisoned and the harder it is for them to escape. Fleeing the Abyss is not enough as there is no excape from it's draw on them, and they must find something to encase there soul into and strengthen it with magics and faith to keep them from being sucked back down to there eternal punishment.
Rather they where right or not for what they did, and hardly any could be considered evil... all but a few thought that what they where doing was right. But the abyss was devoid of any senses and the only thing they could do was 'talk' to each other for thousands of years with no way to know who they where talking to. This has been devastating to there minds, turning there resentments to anger to hatred to loathing and darkened there souls. Some remain good, or think they are, however there minds are twisted by the Abyss... some so much there minds have been reduced to feral states.
Regardless of there ethics, motivations, and desires they all want out of the Abyss and will do nearly anything to escape it and keep from returning to it. Fallen are also all a little morally slanted and some what lacking in sanity.... even the most pure and good being is not fully sane after 100,000 years of torture has a nasty affect on even the most resolute mind.

There are three kinds of Fallen.

Earthbound

It's said during the second fall, and the time shortly following it, 666 fallen were returned to this world from the void.
