Within the Materium

A world of magic and myth and more.   The United Empire fracturing and dividing back into the states and countries that made it, the Nation of Scale-Kin ever waiting and sitting in ever slumber until their leader rises and The Observers, ever watching and learning, plotting in the far reaches of the world.   Great evils rise and fall, heroes are made and slain for their efforts, some change the world, most fall into its groves, the Gods watch their followers while the Corrupt ones gather power from their worshipers vile deeds.   The Gods look down on the world ever vigilant to not repeat past errors, Demons and Devils look to exploit the weak willed and power seekers, the worshippers of both are rewarded one with the ability to cure all many of illness while others are gifted blades that can pass through steel as it was air and armour that deflects that which would mortally wound even the most defensive of knights.   Magic filtered from a land where it flows like a river pours into the world, in great amount causes many an ailment, but when put through a focus can summon the elements of the Realm and beyond to aid, kill and destroy.
