Fiaald
As a result of Fiaald's dependence on compound words, words for complicated concepts can get to be absolutely sprawling. To outsiders, this seems to be an unnecessary complication, as some words can take up to 30 seconds to say aloud. A traditionalist would insist that it is for the sake of clarity, while younglings simply find it fun to make up overly complicated words. If you were not raised as a Wildling, you will not have much fun with Fiaald.
Geographical Distribution
All Wildlings use Fiaald as a means of inter-sept communication. It is therefore spread sparsely throughout the globe, though it is a thoroughly dead language.
Phonology
(this means the sounds that are made--me vs mi and so on)
Morphology
(how many types of morphemes, I think--which are the 'smallest part of a word that can have meaning', like 's,' which changes things to plurals)
Syntax
Fiaald is highly dependent on prefixes and suffixes to convey meaning. For example, the term praesker on its own, simply means 'newcomer,' and is used commonly in diplomatic affairs to welcome visitors (So'praesker'me beires aere'beiemu hisal'so), but when slapped onto the modifier amavs (roughly meaning unwanted, used to denote an insult) it becomes a derogatory term meaning 'invader,' or 'interloper.' (So'aerm beires an amavs'praesker'so).
Standard sentence order goes Subject-Main Verb-Indirect Object-Direct Object-Auxiliary Verb. Adverbs are modifiers applied to the main verb, and prepositions prefixes tied to the indirect object.
So to say
