Andan Exports

Overview

Under the command of Captain Elisanne Kreiss, the Andan Exports company is a front for loyalists to the Duchy of Andurien in the Free Worlds League. After the Duchy declared independence in the September of 3030, Captain Kreiss continued to present herself as an agent of the League to a few particular parties and openly identified herself as a business buying and selling "a specific type of goods and services" to interested parties. The government of White Reach was soon too busy to really pay attention to her business, which allowed her to use DropShips to deliver and pickup military-grade equipment she would sell to those who were willing to pay for it.

In comparison to other foreign forces on White Reach, Captain Kreiss has been content to buy salvage or scrap and send it back to her homeland, or to sell functional equipment to the ones who could pay and use the money to fund her salvage operations. Several hundred tons of cargo leave Andan Exports every other month, sent back to the Duchy in order to help supply them in their independence. Due to the government of White Reach never disputing or investigating Andan Exports, and their operation under a Commonwealth license, there has been some safety in this arms smuggling for the time being.

As a result of mounting operational expenses and serious losses, Commander Dupree of the Harbingers entered into a special contract for Captain Kreiss at the start of March in order to retain a viable contract. She leveraged their need for supplies into securing any salvage they procure, and information on their opponents and the planet's resources. The knowledge of an operational factory which can produce combat vehicles has intrigued her, and might allow her a chance to send materiel back to the Duchy which is not simply salvaged off the battlefield.
