Aeris Strauss

Aeris is the main character of the DRAGON series. The start of her tale, Dissent, is coming soon to Amazon Kindle.
Not much is known about Aeris except that she is an energetic, carefree dragon under the care of
Lord Aaron Strauss. She is described as having bright blue scales similar to the midday sky, leaving me to believe she is an
Ardelle Celestial , the rarest species of dragon.
Whatever the reason, she has been kept sheltered and hidden from most of the world, only appearing in public at social gatherings and never outside the watchful eye of her master. The world didn't even know she existed until after the unfortunate deaths of Arthur and Della Strauss. Because of this, I can safely assume she has never set foot outside of
Rubelum.
Despite her sheltered lifestyle, there are quite a few rumors about her including that she is the leader of a secret group of rebel dragons seeking to overthrow the human nobility. A very bold claim given how everyone is also completely enamored with her polite mannerisms and soft voice.

Margret has looked after Aeris since the day she was hatched. The two have been nigh inseparable.

Aeris has known Charles since she first hatched. His attitude towards her even then has always been cold and unflinching. He does everything in his power to mold her into the "ideal" dragon. actions are always held under a microscope and observed for any signs of weakness.

During the Events of Dissent, Aeris and Windor meet. Immediately stricken with her, the two become a close and eventually intimate. Unfortunately, their relationship met a rocky end when Aeris became pregnant and Windor rejected her out of fear of retaliation from other dragons.
The two are reunited in Rebirth. Windor, now wracked with guilt, finds that Aeris' feelings towards him have turned hostile, but he refuses to give up trying to earn her forgiveness.

Rowen has always been aware of Aeris despite the two having very little interaction together. This is because Aeris has always shown up Rowen in one way or another without even trying or meaning to. This has cause Rowen to harber a deep animosity towards the other dragoness, something that she has only recently begun to let go of.
