Aaron was born into the wealthy Strauss family and is the only child of Arthur and Della Strauss.
Despite being the heir to an empire, Aaron was well-loved by both of his parents. They ensured he received the best education available and taught him all he would need to know about running a business while still allowing him to be a child and treat him as such. It wouldn't be a stretch to say he had an ideal childhood. It was brought to an abrupt end when his parents died not long after his 15th birthday.
After Aaron’s 4th birthday, he received a very unique gift from his father, a dragon egg along with the message that it would be his responsibility and to treat it well for it would become a valuable asset to him one day.
Aaron paid his father’s words little heed and become fast friends with the dragon. The two were inseparable and spent every waking moment together. The two became known as quite the troublesome pair.
It came as such a shock when his parents died when he turned 15. While he had nothing to do with their deaths, it didn't stop the rumors. He did not let this deter him and he used his parent's teachings to expand their business into one of the largest shipping businesses in the land and increase their wealth even further. Now the Strauss family is one of the most powerful in Geolga.

Margret was hired by Aaron's parents to look after Aeris, but since the two were always together, she looked after him as well. Despite this, Aaron has only ever thought of Maggie of as a nanny, a servant in the Strauss household.
