S.I.B.A. - Spiritually Infused Bullet Arsenal

This article will undergo big changes and the description of SIBA weapons below is outdated (came up with an idea that's cooler for me).
Even before the humanity existed, the creatures from beyond The Curtain found its weakest points and slipped through it into our world. When humans started walking on the Earth, those beings were the things elders scared children with.
The teeth in the dark, the glowing eyes, the insatiable hunger.
As they showed up, people started creating weapons to defend themselves. First, it was silver and cold iron, then the blessing of the weapon.
But the discovery of The Curtain and the ways to reach beyond it has opened new ways to fight the spirits.
That's when the SIBA was created.

What is SIBA?

Scientists noticed that when the spirits feed on the emotions and aspects they are based on, they destroy they just incorporate those things into themselves. But when they are feeding on other spirits or something that isn't completely based on the same aspect, they first try to convert their meal into the more universal type of the energy (which isn't 100% effective, as they still get "infected" by other aspects).
Based on that, SI Boxes were first created. Those little things could convert and store any kind of spiritual energy inside of themselves. Those boxes were first used as a bait for spirits, but one day one of them malfunctioned, shooting out its energy into one of the spirits and destroying their manifestation in the process. That is when the SI Boxes were weaponized and the SIBA was first created.
Firearms based on SIBA technology don't need any physical bullets and can theoretically shoot endlessly as long as they have access to strong emotions or they are near the fissure in The Curtain, where they absorb spiritual energy.

Utility

The main function of SIBAs is to destroy the manifestation of the spirit in our world, so fixing the fissure in The Curtain through which it has crawled is way easier to accomplish.
The destruction of manifestation is achieved by filling the spirit with the sudden spikes of spirit energy that basically overloads them. They are fed so much, they burst like piñata and need to collect themselves in the spiritual world. That gives Faceless Ones enough time to fix any anomalies in the area.
Besides their main use, the charge of the gun can be partially released to serve as a bait.
Additionally, if the SI Box is badly damaged, it can lead to an explosion of spiritual energy that (if controlled) can be used as provisional explosives.
