A
lchemy runs rampant in 17th century London. It is the hardest to master skills and perhaps the most rewarding. However, as more alchemists come into the trade, they are faced with a new problem: the art is dying. From the beginning, the language of alchemy has become more and more complicated, having to develop for the dying knowledge. However, there is nothing to be done ... unless ...
The problem is, the one source of power is an immortal shape-shifting vampire. While they have the ability to save the dying art of alchemy, they are hard to catch and even harder to tame.

Centered around two main characters, What's Normal Here? features an interesting range of characters, many of whom are pulled straight from history.

~What's Normal Here?~
Arthur Dee is the new doctor in London. He has already begun to establish himself beyond the shadow of his father - an occultist who found himself on the wrong side of morality - when an unusual encounter occurs. Arthur finds himself swept up in the world of alchemy, deeper than his father ever took him, and it may cost him the humanity he has tried to hard to keep. Yet, despite his best efforts, he finds himself falling (in more ways than one) for someone which may cause him to make a bigger mistake than his father ever did. The history of London is vivid within this story, weaving together fantasy and fiction into a well crafted, beautifully designed world where nothing is as it seems and society hides its secrets.
