West Marches of Sol

The Marches continue to this day as a testament to the perseverance of the intelligent races of the world of Sol. A small section of a much larger continent, the Marches has been wild and untamed for much of recorded history. Only within the past 100 sun cycles have humans been able to maintain a foothold here. However, the elder races have been here long before any human set foot in its many valleys. Vicious monsters and the unyielding forces of nature were not enough to dissuade settlers from colonizing the region.   In more recent times, adventurer's from far and wide have flocked to the frontier in the hopes of achieving their various individual goals. Many have shown to be good, and just, a force of positive change in the region. Some have perused entrepreneurial goals such as setting up businesses and settlements for people to live in. The Marches have relied heavily on these adventurous folk and they have proven themselves time and time again to bring peace and prosperity to the area.
