The South Magocracy
Alhava was divided into two after the Exploration Ban in 1 EB. Alhava was also known from then on as United Lands of Alhava and was divided into the Northern Kingdom and the Southern Magocracy.
Since then, the South unites their many ethnicities to form the Southern Magocracy but though they are united, freedom of ethnic activities, religious agendas and forming guilds are still allowed and encouraged. The head of the magocracy consists of seven leaders; four archmages, one speaker for the people, one priestess and a commander of the south forces, all of whom are elected every 10-15 years depending on the quality of service they give. It is mandatory to pass the power and elect new officials after the fifteenth year. In 1596, the 105th generation of leaders are holding their reign. They reside their power in Equality City.
Structure
The Seven Leaders of the Southern Magocracy
- Four Archmages
An Archmage is a mage who is a master of all the origins of magic (i.e. plant-based, object-based, solar, shadow & earth) although they are only capable of one type of magic (i.e. fire, healing,etc.) The current Archmages of Power are Lala Sun, archmage of shadow, Mifa Hope, archmage of healing, Lester Strength, archmage of protection and Aylah Fire, archmage of weather. Lala Sun and Mifa Hope are both tasked to be overseers of every event ongoing in the South whether these are polical, economical, social or environmental, they are also the ones directly ruling Equality City. They are also tasked to review the laws and create, abolish or amend laws while seated in power. Lester Strength's task is to supervise the activity of the Sentries of the South Magocracy and make sure civil welfare is prioritized. Aylah Fire, much like Speaker David Fury, addresses the social issues that the citizens have to deal with but in her case, she is much often a teacher of magic and does good deeds for the people though this is somewhat her own private agenda.

Public Agenda
The 105th generation of magical leaders have started their reign since 1593. The United Lands of Alhava, upon being passed on to the new leaders, is experiencing an era of peace and most of the crimes or complications occur are only minor and therefore, led the new leaders to simply continue the advancement of magical technology in the South Magocracy. Though upon 1595, when the North Kingdom had limited in giving them resources and cattle, the seven leaders are starting to grow suspicious of the agenda of the North Kingdom, most especially since the heads of the monarch ceased to reply in the letters given asking to liberate some food to the families in the Middle Isles.

Territories
Their territory includes the main land, the joint farm with the North Kingdom and the Fishing Villages of the South.
Military
There are two official branches of security---the Red Legion and the Sentries.
The Red Legions are military soldiers tasked to protect the South Magocracy in times of war. They are under the supervision of Stanvey Bravery. This Legion is divided into two subgroups---Exterior and Interior. The Exterior Red Legionnaires are deployed outside of the South Mainland, mostly to guard the joint farm land between the North and the South and to guard the seas surrounding the North Kingdom in case of outland trespassers. The Interior Red Legionnaires, though official members of the military, are only called to action in times of war. In times of peace, members of this division of the legion are members of various guilds approved by the law.
The Sentries are police officers deployed all around the South Magocracy. Their task is to keep the civil peace and make sure that the local crime rates are below 16.85%
Religion
The most practiced religion in the South Magocracy is Eulkuthione. This religion explains the way on how humans and mages came to be and is the most widespread religion in Alhava. Supporters of this are called Eulkutians and they believe that the spirits of the suns and the spirit of the earth are the bringers of life and the ilae and kanae are basically spirits that formed the humans and mages to worship the sun and the earth.
A counterculture of this religion is called the Ildas which argues that the spirit of the sun is much stronger than the spirit of the earth.
Foreign Relations
A political organization that the South Magocracy has is the North Kingdom. These two organizations have had many complications since the Exploration Ban including the 200 year magic ban in the North Kingdom that didn't allow mages to travel, migrate or visit the North Kingdom (1100 EB.) Still, they managed to maintain a good diplomatic relation.

Relying on a barter system, people do good services or give away goods in exchange for what they want to purchase (other services and goods.) Although there is still a hierarchy in terms of the goods, the topmost is ther service of making food, the next ones are silver and gallons of water.
In trades with the North Kingdom, the North would give them barter instead of their own wooden currency.
Judicial Body
The person who is responsible for carrying out the interpretation of the laws of the South Magocracy is the Commander of the South Forces, Stanvey Bravery. Although 'Commander' is usually a militant position, in times of peace he acts as a bringer of law.
