A tall male Italian-Canadian with an average physique for his age and time. His body is in a square frame with a head in a square like frame. There is some muscle and a belly but nothing pronounced. He is a known smoker and by the time of his first encounter with Nelvana, it is believed his lungs were affected by the smoke.

He has secret lab in the northern canadian wilderness, in a mountain connected to a tree (the exact location has been classified by the RCMP and CSIS). It should be note that his secret lab has his best stuff and any secrets he has; the lab holds an urban legend sort of status amongst his affiliates, only a trusted few were allowed to the lab and everybody who knows about it knows only that it exists and nothing else. Over the course of his life it has been revealed that he tends to have makeshift labs that can easily be transported; several items have been linked to the quick departure from these labs. The believed explanation for them is to do his inventing as well as a meeting point for clients.

How and when he started doing criminal activity is unknown. There have been several stories detailing his start of crime. Some say he worked for a mob in his teen years, others say he started with shoplifting and moved onto bigger things. What is known however is that he was arrogant in his youth and continued on into his adult years. What is also known is that he grew up in an italian neighbourhood to a family with a history of winery work and that he knew people who were in the criminal rackets. By his mid 20's he achieved a masters of chemistry. Around this time he started getting in the underworld seriously. He was working in a lab until it was discovered he'd been smuggling materials for criminal activities. As a result, giving his first ever confirmed crime and adding to the likeliness of any past activity. Ever since he became a made man and prominent gangster. It has also been noted from many associates and cohorts that even that he's good, his arrogance inflated over the years. Up to claiming he will be the Crime King of America. His first bout with Nelvana came about when she trailed a series of robberies that led to his secret lair. He was defected when she melted his patented plastic and saved a scientist who was working on atomic energy from him. After this, he fought several heros along with aiding several science based villains throughout America. During the 60's his position is the criminal underworld was stable enough to justify his self imposed title, The Crime King. It should also be noted that he backed up and organized many supervillains, both in groups and solo from the late 50's until his death. His mental health deteriorated into a state of delusion where he believed to be an incarnated god of crime and evil. How and when this started is currently unknown. His body was found in woods in 1977, believed to be gang related violence since there were previous conflicts within the months following the discovery. What should be noted about the body was that there was a coat of chemicals and lungs damaged by cigars. It is currently unknown if he's murdered or a lab accident was the cause, but the method of death involved chemicals he dabbled within the last few years. He died within a 4 month period, between March of 1977 when he was last known to have been seen and September 10 when his body was found.

Once uncovered and occupied by the police he decided to not venture there for some time. Between the temporary police occupation and his return, it had been ransacked by unknown persons and became the living quarters of a stranded alien that later aided by Nelvana at an unknown date. When he returned he had to set everything up again.

The name the Crime King has been used by multiple people after and possibly before Socco, mostly ego maniacs who self appoint themselves. There have also been multiple "Crime Kings" who fought each other.
