The Gift of Fire from the Ancient Ones.

Found in the heart of the Copper Mountains about thirty miles north of Arsenal Basin lies a large stone dias. Covered in ancient carvings depicting its discovery by the Guns of the North, this rock in the forest contains a vast quantity of preserved knowledge from the forgotten era.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

It is unknown how the device truly functions however some scholars theorize it is using Blue Ontologite to transmit information.
To attempt to learn what is within simply requires someone to step to the center of the platform, and charge it with Electrokinesis. It then glows a brilliant blue for thirty seconds. To the operator, it feels as though minutes pass as they see visions of science and history. These visions are always disjointed and confusing.

Significance

Originally discovered by the early tribes in the Copper Mountains, this device was responsible for the discovery of gunpowder on Plenumia. The tribe building rudimentary black powder firearms form which they would get the name Guns of the North. Eventually the technology spread to various other factions through trade and observation. This device is also credited for the discovery of radios used primarily by Mountain Striders.
