The Nightmare Under the Wealth.

Located in the northern reaches of the Diamond Lakes region. This city is the settlement a massive worksite where many of the factories for the Bridge Way Monarchy are located.

Demographics

The city is primarily populated with the slaves of the Bridge Way Monarchy which makes up over sixty percent of inhabitants. Another thirty percent being the soldiers intended to keep the indentured servants in line. The final ten percent being the members of the merchant cast.

Industry & Trade

The city is almost entirely made up of factories built using technology stolen from Fields Union. Auto Looms, Printing Presses, Blast Furnaces, and other mass-production methods are employed. Operated by what the Bridge Way Monarchy call 'Thralls'. A steam locomotive moves supplies to the city, and completed products back to the capital.

History

While originally the capital of Bridge Way Monarchy originally produced many of its own products by hand. Eventually, its population grew large with the number of thralls, and other casts populating it. In an attempt to make their work more productive, the leadership sold land nearby to the trading cast with a heavy reprieve on taxation. Leading to the highly productive, if morally dubious city.

Tourism

While many Awoken head to the capital for trade and to see its many impressive structures. Very few wish to actually travel to Golds Founding due to the oppressive nature of the city.
