Peace After the Storm
After the critical success of the Copper Mount Militia at Thunder Pass against The We, it was clear that if something wasn't done more bloodshed would occur. The ambush that happened left very few survivors, which were rounded up as prisoners. Of course, they were treated well but were still enemies of the militia. The Militia infintry moved to Clink's Mine, capturing it as well as two leaders of the attacking force. When We of the Sand learned of the humiliating defeat, the Iron Counsel tried to play it off as if it hadn't happened, which was quickly disproven do to the number of people who didn't return. The Copper Mount Militia demanded a meeting inside Reserve Arsenal Delta with a representative of the Iron Counsel for peace talks. The We was reluctant to sign the peace agreement. It effectively forces them to be allies with the other two factions on Plenumia. Leaving them little to no room to expand. This was intentional on the part of Fields Union and Copper Mount Militia due to both factions being allied with one another and opposing We of the Sand. All major factions signed this agreement as apart of We of the Sand's surrender, forcing them to make several trading agreements, a peace pact , and a mandatory get together in The Copper Mountains, called the Wild Berry Mead Harvest. Despite the bloodshed, something that helped along with the peace agreements was the prisoners of war. Not as bargaining chips but rather as people who after release said that their time in Copper Mount Militia custody said that we were "Actually quite pleasant". It seems the commander of the attack force treated them well, and with no hostility.
