Sik'searn is an infernal and patron to Raymond, and Val'mundrr's contact in the first part of the story. He was imprisoned by the Celestial Order for a crime he didn't commit. He has a shadowflame core like all infernals, but he only uses fire magic.

Body Features

He has the red-orange skin, claws, black eyes, and fangs of any infernal. His horns go outwards and then curve up towards the crown of his head.

Personal history

Sik'searn is an infernal who fought in the Dividing War as a flame-waster captain. He met Val'mundrr during that time. After the war, he was one of the first infernals to make a pact with a human, specifically to break the rule that the celestials were enforcing about interplanar contact. He found Raymond, a prime candidate, and became his patrons. Two thousand years later, the Celestial Order framed him and Val for a crime. Val'mundrr got away, but Sik'searn and Raymond were imprisoned.
