Hex

The hex aspect deals, quite uniquely, with cores themselves, and is often said to be the root of all other aspects. This is supported by the fact that hex has no natural counter, unlike all the other primary aspects; rather, it is its own counter. Hex magic is less about physically overpowering the opponent, and more about making them unable to fight; almost all hex magic targets a person's core directly. Hex magic is also at the root of many ritual spells, especially those that apply permanent changes on an individual, such as the warlock pact.
