The Alien Tongue of the Servants of the Far Realms

The cursed language of the Deep Ones and the Illithids, Deep Speech can only be truly spoken properly by those that have non-humanoid vocal cords and mouths. Deep and guttoral, with sudden screeches and sounds that many would not consider actual words, Deep Speech is strange and scary to those unused to it.

Geographical Distribution

Found prolifically throughout the ocean, spoken by the Deep Ones and their servants. It is also spoken with a different dialect deep in the Underdark by the Illithids and their thralls, but ultimately they two dialects are the same language.
